Hello! My name is Pamela and I'm the calligrapher behind Lovelier Words Calligraphy. My calligraphy business was born out of a love for beautiful handwriting that began at an early age. (Where has the appreciation for cursive gone? Am I right?!)
After marrying my musician husband in 2012, I realized I too needed a creative outlet. I was thrilled with all things wedding after having gone through the wedding planning process and thought calligraphy would be the perfect hobby. I've been gifting self-made calligraphy pieces to friends and family ever since and branched into the business world after creating all the calligraphy pieces for my sister's wedding.
While I'm currently based in Dallas, Texas, I'm always open to calligraphy jobs from outside of the Lone Star State. Contact me and we'll get to work!
The Story behind my Calligraphy business name.
The inspiration for my calligraphy business name came from my very favorite artist, Iron and Wine, and his song "The Sea and the Rhythm." I love his sleepy folksy music -- it provides the perfect soundtrack for a cozy, rainy day where all you have to do is drink tea and snuggle with your cute kitty.**
**Yes, I do love tea, watching the rain (from indoors!), and cats, especially my sassy little kitty, Vesper. She occasionally makes an appearance with my calligraphy on Instagram. Stay tuned!
